His approach is rooted in the "build"—from researching materials for custom set construction to experimenting with the unique characteristics of vintage lenses and unusual lighting setups. As a tutor and mentor, Lorenzo shares these technical explorations openly, believing that the creative process is most effective when it is shared and collaborative.
Outside the studio, his work is informed by the world-building found in science Fiction and graphic novels, alongside the rhythmic energy of electronic music and his background as a DJ.
